Ani and wallis never looked like scoring and whilst this situation continues we will continue to slide in the leauge and go out of cups.

Better team performance with good individual from Leigh Mason and Jarvo and Drake (dont think he made any mistakes)

Still too many poor late passes and lack of shots from the front men.

no confidence in the forwards whatsoever, mccleary had one golden chance to equalise but the shot was poor and saved by the keeper. we did create several opportunities to score but never produced a final product. agreed mason had a great game definately MOTM for us.

Oh dear, oh dear. When are we going to start hitting that back of the net again? Our forwards look as though they could not score in a brothel with £20 pound notes tied to their choppers at the moment. Thought Alexis was way off his best today after a good performance last Tuesday. Mason and Wilko done well and the defence tried their best although they are always going to be under the cosh while we are not scoring. Anyway, roll on Tuesday and keep the faith.

Wilko was man of the match for me. The number of tackles and sheer amount of ground he covered considering he was going to retire over the summer was simply phenomenal. Now if we could get Metcalfe back to give him a breather.

Another thing that was blatantly apparent was the need for a big lug up top. Doesn't have to be good or a 20 goal a season striker, but just someone who can win a header, play a pass back to the midfield and cause a nuisance in the box for crosses.

The second half performance was good, and IF !!! we had a striker of sorts we could be having a reply on tuesday ! we had 70% of play in the second half and did well upto the penalty box...then went begging...

however..Slough made a fight of the game...and thats great...the tide will turn if we get a decent striker ....

hi all dave here

i feel we should have got somthing but for the early seariouse injury to curtis realy changed the game and if we had an alternative to ian h i feel we could win games but with a reduced squad and so many out injured he pains me to say that there is no way we can progess and quite poss be whiped out of all remaining cups and i fear religation is defanatly on the cards but we can turn it around with most players fit but it herts me to say we have at least 3-5 players missing and is nobody elses thought just a string of servere bad luck and surely can suddenly change and we all have to be paitent.

it may take religation but we can and have came back but this time i think it could be more difercault to get back up and once again rebuild next few years and hopefully stay up but now looking bad with no sat win home or away.

up the rebels keep on in there

How many quality crosses were put in yesterday? How many times did wide men beat there man get to the bye line and then pick out the first defender with the cross? How many times did a midfielder put a striker in with a pass? Cant remember many??? Very easy to blame strikers when the team isnt scoring. There are 8 other outfield players on the pitch as well?

there were no crosses because dell/woody were not playin.even if they get the cross in,there is never anyone on the end of them anyway.was the last post one of our forwards by any chance?
