Morning all,

A glorious morning dawns at Greenie Towers on the day of a Cup tie that I must confess I've looked forward to since the draw was made. As Wellsie's dolcit tones cannot be heard live this afternoon through Margate Live, the gold old BBC have stepped in and as long as the relevant equipment works, if you cant get to the Belmont this afternoon, please join me and the rest of our team on the BBC Radio Kent website through the link provided below for full match commentary and news of goals from elsewhere across Kent and nationally too.

One more thing whilst I remember, there's not a lot of parking around the ground, so if you're planning to travel, I'd seriously consider the train given that the station is literally five minute walk around the corner from the ground...

Spot on there GW. Buses available outside the station entrance.

 

"TIP"

If some were travelling by train,now bus, & go in numbers of 3 or more(together)ask for the return fare but ask additionally for "group save" as well.

NB. 3 travel for the price of 2 (group-save 3) & 4 travel for the price of 2(group-save 4).

The more that travel together the more money you save.However there is a stipulaton & that is that they must travel both ways together! Thats the official bit anyway.

Just ask for group save day return if there is more than 3 of you going together. Simple!

Applies to the bus also.

Just so as theres no misunderstanding,what people do after the event is beyond certain peoples control & they do so at their own risk without the need of help from others.

How about you keep your thoughts to yourself in future eh? Too many postman pat books I reckon Chris.Still I forgive you your ignorance on this occasion.

How about saying hello today then at the match. Am intrigued now to see just how old you really are as I had previously thought you were of a mature age. Seems I was wrong.

No need to thank me for the additional information Chris I have given as it is patently obvious rail travel isnt on your agenda for today.

I've always found the guys at Tonbridge station really helpful in sugesting the best fare anyway. So "thanks" to all the peoiple in the business that do so.

I know it was supposed to be a joke. Just do so at others expense please or at least allow me the honour of knowing who it is,in person,that I am dealing with. Maybe after knowing & seeing I can make allowances & possibly find the jovialty funnier than I do now.

You know who I am so please say hello at the match if you can.Again it would be nice to put a face to a name.Makes jokers like yourself more bearable then,even at my expense.

Stick to your match reports as that is something you do excel in. Have a nice day.

I wasnt happy with a joke at my expense & I replied saying so.No bickering here as far as I can see.Am sure if we were to meet there would be no hard feelings & we would continue with the joys of the day June. Dont fret now, keep calm,everythings still hunky dory.
