esl officials prejudiced against eton manor

Krooner, you're saying you haven't got time but then you can make 6 games in 11 days!what's that?turning up for a game where you get £ 25,free drinks and food is ok but doing a fitness test or a coaching session once a month is too much?i know why...you don't get paid for that ,innit? it just shows me that you're only doing for the money, there is no enjoyment being abused for 90 minutes because you're performing poorly.anyway we can put up with it...the difference between a player on wages and a ref like you is that we can replace the player but not the referee.we have to put up with him, pissed or not pissed, useless or not useless,we can't replace a ref that is having a nightmare.also,we can tell that player to [****!!****] off and look for a team that will put up with him,but we can't do the same with that referee...the league will send you a letter telling that referee will never ref in the esl or your team again, and...surprise,surprise 2 of the 3 officials at that" famous game" are refereeing your match away at stansted! you're the winners anyway...grab the money, treat the players like little hitlers, ruin games and go home happy with spare money in the pockets! happy days innit?who gives a [****!!****] if we were [****!!****] and spoiled a good game of football...

More crap. Dont make assumptions about me when you do not know me. I did 6 games in 11 days because I was appointed to them. If I wasnt then I wouldnt do them. I go to the fitness evenings arranged by the County and I certainly do not get paid for them. You clearly have a problem with refs that no amount of reasonable argument or suggestions will make you view things differently. It is ill discipline that causes MOST problems and that stems from the way they are coached and the [****!!****] that comes from the touchline.

If the hat fits wear it.

Interesting enough that you make no comment on my suggestion about players learning the laws of the game.

what causes most problems are inept referees that haven't got a clue!i haven't got a problem with ref's,only with the useless ones and the people that appoint them.i never got sent off in my life and my team last night, even if we were piss poor and forgot to turn up for the match, didn't get a single yellow card for the 5th times in 13 games.the suggestion about players going to referees courses is non sense.i believe some matches will be better without refs, infact the best refs are the ones that you don't notice, not [****!!****]" rejected footballers" that act like mussolini!and do [****!!****] all to improve themselves and their performances a new proposal:games without referees.it will be much better than having one with "diminished responsibility"

krron, the problems with refs are not the "laws of the games" its normally common sense.

i think there is a responsibility on the shoulders of players/managers and the referees. not all refs are bad, not all players are angels.

what would we do without football eh? think about it like that. we all love it whether we play, officiate or coach.

quality.

Quite right Smallsy. I do it for the money though eh Coach.

Common Sense was taken away a long time ago and for the guys who want to go somewhere they are not allowed it !

poor referreeing = frustrated players = bad language/bad tackles

abusive players=intimidated referee=poor decisions

etc etc

it will never be solved

it can be solved improving the refs perfomances and attitude towards players and club officials.an authoritarian style from a ref can only get a negative response from everyone involved, the same as a weak referee.what happened the other night at tilbury vs eton manor showed me that a lot of referees are prejudiced against some club officials.i repeat again krooner"POSITIVE APPROACH"will go a long way to improve things!where the old english way of refereeing has gone?common sense has gone out of the window..

Yep Coach and that works both ways.

I agree common sense is a thing of the past especially for referees that want to go somewhere.

And of course no club official is ever guilty of that. I may of read this wrong Coach but you do appear to be suggesting this is a one way thing. It needs to be 2 way. Next game make sure none of your players appeal for a throw in or a corner when they know it isnt theirs. That will be a good start from you.

do you ref in the CCL krooner?

i think if a ref gets off on the right foot with players i.e the way they communicate etc there wont be too many complaints.

refs no matter how good or bad will always make mistakes, its how they react to the mistakes that will help i.e. not losing control of the game etc.

not easy referreeing, i wouldnt fancy it.

Ref and line. TBH if I didnt enjoy it I wouldnt do it. 99% of the time there isnt a problem and I try and communicate and have a bit of a laugh with players. Most go for it but there are some that never do. It is always easy to blame the ref to cover up their own mistakes. If I make a mistake, and I do, I will always apologise for it. If I was any good I would be reffing at a much higher level !

I agree with Coachie, some of the refs in this league are shocking. But at the end of the day, people should bite their tongues and wait for the right moment to speak to the referee. I was at Basildon on Tuesday, because I didnt give an offside (the ball ran through to the keeper) and out of nowhere one of the players brings up an incident from February this year, that is seriously childish. I am just supposed to stand there and take that? With regards to Eton Manor, I think they're top notch, Kirk is a laugh, and mocking Quinny is top. You also have to remember that referees are being assessed and have to strictly apply the letter of the law, the Basildon game on Tuesday was not a bad game, but there were 3 cautions and the assessor said there should've been a couple more. That referee will now get marked down for not giving out enough cards, that's fooking crazy!

there are a lot of shocking players as well! what i'm trying to say is, that the referees should be coached better and show a willingness to better themselves.are you proud of yourself when you have had a good game and every club official and player is paying you a compliment?of course you are!yeah, there are managers that try to manipulate you,(i have seen the same one tonight, doing it again )verbally abusing ya,intimidate as well but if you know what you are doing and concentrate on your game, you'll pull it through.there are also older players that will constantly moan at every decision:you should know how to deal with them!shut the [****!!****] up,and get on with it lazy git! if you cannot run anymore, join the [****!!****] veterans league, that's the answer..(jj and super sixi for example )
