Only lost 1 game so far, have got a goal scorer this year.

 

Good blend of experience in their side.

 

I think Hertford could make a good challenge if they sure it up at the back, not sure how the new guys are going to line up formation wise but if they are going to play 3 at the back with a sweeper then they need to find a decent one sharpish!

Leverstock may have beaten us 4-2, but for the first 45 mins we never turned up. We were 0-3 down and had our central defender sent off. Second half we were all over them, pulled two goals back, hit the post a couple of times, and really should have got back on level terms. They hit us on the break and got the fourth which killed the game off. Plus thier pitch has a nasty slope, of which 5 out of the 6 goals that day were from playing down the slope!.

Even a member of their club said we were by far the best side they had played so far. And a member of Tring said how on earth did we manage to lose to Leverstock!.

The fact remains we did lose to them, but over the course of a season we WILL gain more points then them....a LOT more.

Without trying to be funny, I think that statemnet is a bit silly. To say that Edgware dont know the teams they are playing, you think they dont do thier homework on opponents? as I am sure all clubs even at our level do?

Better equipped? how? because they have played in the SSML before?

A lot of teams wont know what to expect when they play us, having not met us before, that could work in our advantage.

We have a good size squad. I would say we could cope with injurys and suspensions. We have already had players out through and those that have come in have done an excellent job. There is healthy compition for places which has to be good.
