As for winning a trophy this season we are still in the Division 1 cup and are away to 'the mighty' Brimsdown Rovers in the quarter final which we will be treating seriously, the SSML may as well send the trophy down to that game and present it to the winners.

Another ridiculous statement rhodes...thats what makes football so unpredictable and why we all love the game. In a cup the best team doesn't always win. You of all people should know that given your almost orgasmic like regard for the serious under achieving Leeds team of the early 1970s (Colchester and Sunderland are two teams they struggled against despite being infinitely better than them on paper.)

And as you say yourself repeatedly, teams are playing KTFC sorry the Manchester United of Division One to give them their official name as if it was a cup final. Should KTFC actually reach a cup final then perhaps their opponents would do the same???

i only ask about his fitness because it is my understanding that his words to Mario where "When im fit come and have a look see what u think" there where also some words such as "if i go a few of the younger lads will come with me as they shouldnt be playing at this level" any comments??

Incidentally in answer to 3praise I will be submitting a serious complaint to the league tomorrow against a fellow SSML Club trying to tap up one of our players, you had better warn off John Bacon if you're at the Holmer Green game tomorrow night although no doubt Coles Park is currently under water.

Rhodes was you present when the meeting occured? Daniel Young could say Mario asked him, the same way Daniel could have asked mario about his connections to the club and asked how to join.....Anything wrong with that rhodes?

One minute there are three or four absent players responsible for your recent results, the next minute it is purely down to Daniel Young not playing.

3praise - No of course I wasn't present when the meeting occured, otherwise Mario wouldn't have dreamt of tapping up Daniel in my presence. Furthermore there's no way in a million year Daniel would have asked Mario how to join Haringey, what he did ask, following the illegal approach and Mario going down on bended knee, was, and I quote, why is it that they lose week in week out, and, something on the lines of, why are they relegation battlers season after season. Also Daniel is not in favour of the long ball game, Wimbledon and Sheffield Wednesday style, and has never put a pass astray in his life, he would be like a duck out of water at Coles Park.

I thought I had answered this one a long time ago, we had Daniel
Young back today for example who came on as substitute midway through the second half when we were still 1-0 down despite not being fit, we equalised a minute later and were totally transformed. What does that tell you particularly as we had two other key players suspended today and one unavailable for selection.
