I think he works central London, so can just get a train out there for training.

 

IAt the end of the day Ruislip is a step up at the moment. Although a dodgy result yesterday, potentially one of the better sides this season. He wont be losing games week in week out!

 

Hendon didn't come in for him, neither did any one else (as far as I know), so to go somewhere else he would have had to prove himself whereas Ruislip made a concrete offer for him.

 

I don't think its a strange move, if anything its a small step up and logical in the circumstances.

Rak - I'm not sure I agree with you on that one, as you well know Lambourne was Haringey's prize asset and has been for two seasons, he can clearly do a job in the Ryman Premier Division with equally good players around him and would prove himself overnight. I do agree however that Ruislip is a step up from Haringey, albeit a small one, and he won't be losing games every week as you say.

Being able to do a job and getting the chance to do a job are two different things.

Just because Ruislip came in for him does that mean he will start knocking on other clubs from higher leagues doors?

Fair do's, I think Lambourne possibly stayed a year too long at Haringey and achieved nothing last season, at least at Ruislip it will be a new challenge and a blank sheet of paper for him but I have a feeling he won't be there all that long before being snapped up by a Step 4 or a Step 3 Club.
