So far it seems a bit too easy to change the fixtures at a late date.

They are a club trapped - Costas took over with plenty of money and big plans but those plans depended on several factors

Being able to generate income through alternative sources so he wouldn't be putting money into a big black hole had to be a priority

He built the E10 nightclub restaraunt (a year behind schedule) and apparanty it is virtually empty

Not surprised - the ground is on a busy main road hardly in the nicest part of London (and I can say that as I was born and brough up just round the corner from the ground) not a hovel but hardly the type of area for a nite spot plus no real parking either in the resdiential streets around there and certainly not in the ground - people could go by bus I suppose

Once that started losing money he was sunk

Planned to build a new stand but was hampered by the presence of house and various objections about restricting their light

The ground is boxed in from all sides and if he wanted to develop the ground he had absoultely nowhere to go (literally) if he stays at Lea Bridge Road - so even if he was successful in gaining promotion from the Isthmian Leaur Premeir quite how he would upgrade the facilities is beyond me

The club structurally and financially I think reached it's pinancle with the Ryman Premier - since then he has been treading ater and this season he has tried to push on and the cost has been too great

Our previous Chairman found out that even at Ryman Div One level the cost of running a club is astronomical and had to cut back - so Costas must be spending fortunes to keep a side and club going

Will be an interesting couple of weeks

For once this is a situation that Costas cannot bully his way out of

The fact that Leyton were getting continually low gates.52 last week.Meant that there was no long term future.Anyone with any business savvy would have realised that the local 'community' who now reside in Leyton, have no interest in either paying to watch football or paying to get into a nightclub.

Wellmit denonstrates how much love of football costas really had. He tried to get into te Istmian establishment and. i believe, attacked Alan Turvey at one point. He really did his best for the non league game just like the other toss pots who have left for pastures new!

King at Canvey Island and our very own wonderful Mr Lazerou.

Dont it make you spit.
