What has happened to Town players...

Ben L'Honore, Gary Fitz, Kevin Stephens and when will James Mackey be available again ?

stephens is on loan back to us from barnet? not always avaialbel for the Town I think. But where is Fitz?

I understand both Fitz & Mackey travel to Leyton with the reserves tomorrow, and should both play some part.

No, I was right as they didn't travel to Leyton on Wednesday night!

This reserve league seems like a bit of a farce at the moment.With nearly every game so far being cancelled at sort notice.

I think the trouble is that most sides are at least partly populated with youth team players, and the clubs have competing priorities with the FA Youth Cup during August & September. In addition some sides want to play more first team fringe players, so want the early rounds of midweek first team league fixtures to pass before commiting too heavily to the Capital League.

 

The Capital League Chairman's report for last season opened with a remark about it being the 22nd season running (the length of the League's existence) that there's been a fixture pile up at the end of the season.
