That is the date I first watched City play. Wee lost 2-3 to Hampton. 27 years on i watched events unfold from an dusty old computer in Bolivia.

At 2-2 i ran up four flights of stairs to advise the minx, who was painting her nails watching Man City on Fox Sports,...´bloody 2-2, its bloody 2-2, get in!' mrs NILNIL shared my emotions and promised to follow me down.

 

Red in the cheeks amped by our assendancy, though suffering this exercion at 3650meters altitude, i lept back down the stairs to the hotel reception to refresh the screen.. 2-3. jesus. jesus.

 

At least you can watch the drama unfold and prepare yourselves. Here, its just a number flashing on the screen. Its hard. We're not due back until next summer. We might never see a Conference game.

Gosh thats harsh. If it makes you feel any better just as you were running back down the stairs in the capital of Bolivia I was nearly falling over and very much out of breath as I jumped around on your concrete steps at the away end.
