Having not been at the game yesterday because I could not drive, I missed out on Eddie not being there due to "illness" and the appearance of Martyn Deaner "back from the dead".

 

However on reflection to the non attendance of the manager and the reapearance of our benifactor I got thinking of the post on here a few days ago about a takeover.

 

If this rumour is true it would make sence for Martyn to show up and be seen to be pulling the strings and posibly showing the new Man around - any sign of a new face?

 

Also if it were true that the new owner was going to bring in a new manager (Steve Brown has a knack of talking chairmen it no giving him a job) this may explain Eddies no show.

 

This is total speculation, and is probably completely wrong but it almost adds up.

It does not add up. Eddie was ill and i'd imagine the reason MD was around is something to do with the council 'meetings' that are now going to happen. The Browne 'rumour' is about 3-years old, and no doubt someone just trying to stir.

Was it around the time of the Wasall game that Martyn Deaner last attended? Just strange that he pops up nearly 2 years on - also considering that he is allegedly wanting to keep a low profile by sponsoring the shirts and not putting a name on them.

 

I am sure that the club will let us know what is going on, but I appreciate that it all needs to be kept hush hush at the moment!
