Conference Stats a la NLP

Nagasaki

Recommended Posts

They never tell you everything, but they are a good insight!

To confirm what I feel is an excellent league this year, and even more competitive this year and getting more and more tighter as the seasons roll on.

Out of 131 games played in the conference there have been

52 Home winns, 46 away wins and 33 draws.

I would have expected more home wins 60/40 against away and the draws slightly higher.

It shows that there are no gimmes on a Saturday afternoon.

Example Oxford just managing 1-0 wins, against St Albans @ home, Crawley and Stafford away, wins yes, easy no.

Head to Head G & N versus Dagenham

G & N Daggers

Goals 20 24

Offside 32 35

Corners 56 81

Fouls Committed 159 109

Yellow Cards 22 12

Red Cards 1 0

You have to say that they look a serious footballing team with either a lot of height or pace or (hope not) both up front, however as the Halifax result suggests they may not have the stomach for a fight if you ruffle their feathers, we obviously have that competitive edge, it makes for a great game, and goals goals goals.
