I am just going by the details on anothers site. If you take a look at the league tables it says for all step 5 leagues (15 of them) two teams MAY be promoted. I think the clubs who want to go up from each divison have to put it in writing by a certain date. That could be the whole of the spartan prem applying for promotion, does not mean they will ge it.

Chances are the Champions will go up if their ground and finances are up to scratch and possibliy the runners up should the champions from another league not make it.

Must say there would be some excellent games to look forward to. Playing Hendon in a LEAGUE game!!! I would be happy with lower mid table from that lot.

Only 1 team from every 14 Step 5 leagues will be considered. Only 10 go up and it is champions first. 2nd only get a look in if there is not enough Champions to go up and the champions of their league havent already gone up. I think.

Anyway then there is the 6th Step 4 league to consider !

Gavin, u r a dreamer!!
No chance of u being in that league!

....
I just copied what was on the TK site....

That was correct at the time they posted it, re to the details set out by the league for promotion.

Would be a good division to be in though.

If Brook House and Hanwell Town can do it, why cant we?

hi paula <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />
Typical mouthy essex fans!

Must admit that wasn't one of our better days but did I say we would win? Nah don't think so.
Did feel for our goalkeeper though - he made some serious errors. He looked so pi$$ed of at the final whistle.
Still feel that we should have been given the 2nd goal though. It ricochet of one of your players - it should not have been classed as being offside. I had a clear view as I was behind the goal at that stage.
Shame you didn't come to say hi - you could have played my drum or played with my sheep <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
I was so pi$$ed. Great day though and you have a good lot of fans although there wasn't many of them. Think we outnumbered you didnt we??

There seems to be 'trouble at mill' at Ware at the moment reading between the lines of the following from the Non League Today Website:

Aiden Mynott, chairman of Ryman League Division One North club Ware, has confirmed to nonleaguedaily that, almost in its entirety, the squad of players that took them to the play-offs last time around have confirmed that they are fully behind team boss Glen Alzapiedi and will re-sign for the Hertfordshire club.

Amongst those agreeing to stay includes goal ace John Frendo, who has turned down lucrative offers from elsewhere to remain at Ware.

Meanwhile, long-serving club secretary Ian Bush has resigned his commission and his chairman praised his committment to the Wodson Park club as a loyal servant and one in which his dealings with the respective league's and the Herts FA will be missed.

With a number of dates available to fill for pre-season friendly fixtures, both at home and away, Alzapiedi (pictured) has taken on the mantle of co-ordinator to arrange the build up to the 2008/09 campaign and is looking for sides to play at Step 3 4 and 5 and wishes to hear from interested parties who might well be in a position to accommodate them to make representation in the first instance on...........

In finalising, Mynott was at pains to point out that, although his club were now looking to appoint a new fixture secretary and would be advertising the post, the role of club secretary was being left vacant at the present time due to the planned re-organisation and continued wish to become a Limited Company and facilitate the transfer from being a members club as at the present time.

Blues06 - Yes but just fixture Secretary which will leave me twiddling my thumbs most of the time, as you know I like to have something to get my teeth into.

Rhodes - the fixtures secretary job can be an extremely hectic one I'm told. If you're in a lot of cups more so. Plus there are always match day jobs to go with it like typing up and printing the team sheet for the boardroom etc etc. Add flesh pressing and I would have thought it was right up your street.
