sorry, but that just cant be a good advert for the league as a whole. People will look at that and say 'mickey mouse league'

Bad sportmanship as well, they should have 'declared' once they hit double figures if you ask me. Five goals conceded in the last 10 mins!!!!

They have lost 6-0 10-0 and now 14-0!!!! The term whipping boys come to mind, poor bastards!!!

We managed to beat them by a whopping 1-0!!

Nearly added another win yesterday, Aston Clinton have yet to lose a SSML Division Two match away from home and with a late OG there record remains intact

BTW Gavin, you may wish to email the Luton Town programme editor and tell him that Brian Stein played for Edgware Town and not Edgeware Town

....

? Why was there a feature on Brian in a recent Luton programme? I noticed that teletext and ceefax put an extra E in Edgware when putting our results up.

Was really only 8 people at your game yesterday?

Its on the kits sponsors page Gavin, and it lists Steins previous clubs so Edgware (or a least Edgeware) gets mentioned in every home programme.

I'm still not sure how they count up the attendances at 61, with no turnsilles and no admission fee then working out the "spectators" can change wildly.

I read in our local paper that apparently the SSML management committee are reviwing it next month

The meeting of the SSML is in a week I think. We should have the result a few days before we play Harefield at home in the Challange trophy, so it could be a very tasty game, whatever the result.

There seems to be a very good chance the game is going to be replayed, from what I have heard Edgware stand a good chance of the game being replayed.

If it is replayed, would this be the first time ever in the UK? the only other case I know of, was the World cup qualifying game last year, that was mentioned on here before.

Lato, why would your local papar carry an article on the game? Does your local paper cover Harefield? how far from you are they?

Gavin. Harefield is about 5 miles from Ruislip and so they are covered in the same paper.
