As I said elsewhere it has to be Ampthill for result of the week..keeping the telepathic wonder that is the Kentish Town side to only a 2-1 victory has to be regarded as a top efort by the Bedfordshire side.

Lato - I don't agree, we should have won comfortably but let them back in just after the break and allowed them the lions share of play in the second period before we got a late penalty to win it. Don't forget that Ampthill were fourth at the start of play and really fancied their chances today, their players were really up for it which just goes to show what a good result it was.

sorry, but that just cant be a good advert for the league as a whole. People will look at that and say 'mickey mouse league'

Bad sportmanship as well, they should have 'declared' once they hit double figures if you ask me. Five goals conceded in the last 10 mins!!!!

They have lost 6-0 10-0 and now 14-0!!!! The term whipping boys come to mind, poor bastards!!!

Gavin - I think HTFCew has touched on this on another thread however you may have forgotten to phone your goalscorers and the attendance through to League HQ after the proceedings yesterday which will result in a slapped wrist and a fine. Incidentally did Mr Gregory give you the programme I posted to him on Friday, he should have brought it down to the game with him unless he was so impressed he kept it for himself, if you do get it I would appreciate your view as Jonno has no doubt been told to keep his ear to the ground by Jane at Hoddesdon Town who must be a worried lady.

HTFCew - Thanks, I had actually forgotten about that facility despite adding some from Haringey Borough's reports last season. I will start with our game yesterday which I'm in the process of finishing off now, I'm sure the likes of Lato and Potters Bar Town can't wait to read it.

At least by placing it (only) on the Mitoo site, people can decide for themselves whether they want to read a report about a particular team.

Ok, I phoned the number given to me straight after the match. There are two numbers, both of which had answerphones. All it says is BT callminder (not even Spartan league) I left a VERY clear message giving the result/scorers (spelling out the names) and the attendance.

If for some reason they never got this, that is NOT my fault, and after them making a mistake with the goal times from last Tuesday, I would serioulsy be thinking twice about phoning in the results anymore.

I have read you can be fined if you dont phone in the results, but I am not going to take ANY blame whatsoever if they screwed up again yesterday.

Gavin - Phoning results and the other information through after games is quite a responsibility and I have often woken up at night drenched in sweat following a nightmare about forgetting to do so. I think you should be fine if you left a message on the callminder service as I have often done that myself and there has been no comeback. You can imagine how many calls Mr Brown and Mr Bean get in that half hour period following games on a Saturday and it's another example of SSML Officials doing an incredible job for us with little or no appreciation.

No doubt they have a LOT of calls to sift through after a Saturday, specially if its a full league programme in all three divisions and like yesterday the FA vase.

The bulliten that you were sent out yesterday and posted on here, does not list any goalscorers and times for our game. I notice we are not the only game that has not got the details. Are these detials in the bulliten from Jim Bean after he has got the info from the clubs?

Does HTFC then update the SSML mito site?
