for some strange reason we only like scoring away from home, we have only score 6 goals at home compared to our 14 away from home.

A couple of problems for next few games then with Hockton out for two weeks-who will score the goals ?

 

plus, i think with Jay on board it gives more midfield options plus Proths can play at right back if needs be-BUT we only have Jay for the Bromley and Heybridge game and then he goes back !!!

 

Need to get Jay on loan to at least Christmas !!

 

Thank goodness BB is back to replace Danny-he'll probably sign for someone else now to leave us short of strikers .

your so optomistic MM, but no what you mean , would be great to hold onto Jay , think by the time he`s got himself going though he will be back off to Lewes unless we can keep him of course.

Actually Danny out could be a 'positive' as RT and MF will need to think about how we are going to score goals-you get the impression-probably wrongly- that we just rely on DH scoring-if it comes off great-if not we don't score.

 

Now we will have to vary the style of play to find goals from other areas of the pitch.

 

BB is more of a roamer than out and out striker.

 

We have not really got anyone who can lead the line.

 

Yiga comes the closest in my book-did it a few times last season.

 

Any reserves who can 'lead the line'.

 

This is where Ellis Remy would have been ideal as our 'third striker'.

 

Maybe RT will sign someone else in time for next couple of games-a couple of weeks ago he was talking of getting another striker, but it went a bt quiet on that front

as i said in another post let Bertie roam ,thats what he is good at , i no he could be playing out of position and some people did`nt agree with that on another topic but Martin o`Neil & Aston Villa did it yesterday playing 2 center forwards out on the wings to show them how to play in a poss that they are not ment to play in and it worked well with both of them scoring goals , this is why Bertie should be allowed to do this , he plays wide anyway so let him use the width of the pitch come in from both sides hopefully opening up gaps in the defence.
