windsor v didcot

Very much a game of two halves, Windsor were by the far the better team in the first half and would have gone in disappointed that they only had a one goal lead, however Didcot turned it round in the second and should have wrapped it up well before Windsor got a late equaliser.

An entertaining game and I was very impressed with your two forwards who were a handful all afternoon - however your defence couldn't really cope with Beavon & Brookes - it could easily have been 4 all.

Look forward to coming over to your's later in the season.

i agree with that comment but i think that windsor should have wrapped the game up with the chances that they created in the first half. chenners and seedal missed several really good chances and the game might have been over as a contest if it had been 4 or 5 nil at half time.

Windsor played well in the first half. Should have been at least 3 goals to the good.

Didcot came back well in the second. The number 10 looking very impressive.

I would like to say thats to the players for leaving the sani's behind!

Malc is there any chance you could get hold of a spell checker for your reports!

I thought you should have been 5-1 up at half-time and that would have been game over.

Second half we dominated and probably should have won it but I thought that draw was the least you deserved over 90 minutes.

While your players spirit and performance impressed me the antics of your manager was pathetic. However bad a manager thinks officials are there's no need for 90 minutes of histrionics and verbal abuse.

Someone should remnind him that he as well as the players are representing your club on a matchday.

Anyway, good luck until we meet again.

Your headline "penalty madness robs royalists" is nonsense.

I was stood right by that incident and the keeper collided with Brooks and never got near the ball. Stonewall penalty.

Who writes your headlines?

Absolutely right Diddy, I was also directly in line with the incident and it was a certain penalty.

Unfortunately the linesman in the first half wasn't as observant when we should also have had a penalty for a foul on Dolan but that's the way things go in football.

Certainly a game of two halves, we should have been 4-1 up at half time and ultimately paid the price for our poor finishing as it allowed you to attack in the second half when the game could have effectively been over and done with.

why was the keeper not sent off if it was a penalty, was he carded, were there other players around or were we lucky again in not going down to ten players. Two penalties in two games by keeper is not good defending.

Anonymous, the ball was out on the edge of the 18 yard box and probably going out of play, therefore a goalscoring opportunity was not on hence no red card. A yellow should only be produced where the foul is intentional or dangerous, in this case I presume the referee interpreted the challenge as an honest attempt to get the ball which went wrong!
