Mr Martin Harris has got it right for me, great article, its all about identity, from father to son etc, etc, but do not brainwash your kids, leave that to the Chelsea's Man Utds and Arsenals.

I've always been a Gravesend boy and proud of it.

However I have been known to follow the happy hammers, for me despite the premiership status, still a grass roots football club with a footballing tradition.

Winning is arguably an important thing, but its the taking part that matters the most, in all aspects of the football club, not just the playing. It is important to note that some can offer more than others, that does not however make the latter a lesser supporter for the club, we are all sailing on the same ship.

Up the Fleet.
