deadbeat old son i think you could probably give 14 days written notice as the terms of your contract have changed during the season , that is breach of contract and if you give 14 days written notice you are leaving then you can go .

Yeah i am not saying it means players will give their all or not fake injury, it just means no ESL league side can nick the players. However i am sure that if players are bothering to get out of bed on a saturday i am sure they will put the effort in.

I shouldn't bank on it.....

the telephone lines at the bridge and elsewhere are red hot at the moment and all the small print in the world cannot break thru FA Contracts....

no wages no contract... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I can see that... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

truth to tell is that I do know of course...when hx sponsorship was withdrawn we couldn't continue to play at all in any league until the players contracts had been settled....all of them were at mutually agreed discounted 'pay offs' and we were then able to play again in conf sth...the reasons for the 'demotion' to the esl were nowt to do with players contracts....thay had been sorted 5 months before...

I don't know what is really going on at Brentwood but as always in NLF there is no smoke without fire.....any talk of small print in contracts is neither here nor there....a contract must be for a specific pay deal and if it stops the contract stops...the club must either then pay off the player or he can release himself after 14 days....the club are then guilty of outstanding football debts and the FA can then step in and stop them from playing....let us hope that Brentwood overcome whatever problems (if any) they have..

on another side to that a club can also stop a player from playing if the player owes the club money...unreturned kits are deemed by the FA to be outstanding monies so wotchout for nett you ex Hx players with unreturned kits...

she is on the case.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Unc unfortunately there is a time limit on trying to claim back monies owed as i have just found out personally lending a player money.

don't know about that...I think that personal lending is different to a football debt...

either way nett is more scary than the FA.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
