For anyone that missed it, Robin was upbeat and positive about the rest of the season.

On last night's game he said the players knew it would be tough but changed their way of thinking and approached the game with no fear.

He mentioned good defending, especially in the second half when we soaked up pressure and attacked well on the break.

Regarding Saturday's match against AFCW, he said it would be a good test. The players were approaching the game with confidence, and can't wait to get on with it.

Regarding our recent slump RT blamed the 'flu in part, and also the fact that after our early successes some players 'forgot about their own job'.

He much prefers to be on the pitch rather than the sidelines, and management has been a learning curve so far. He is demanding a good finish to the campaign from his players.

As for signings, Robin expressed his frustration at a player leaving him in the lurch, but said he was still looking to improve the squad.

The interview by phone lasted about 5 minutes. The DJ addressed RT as 'Robbie' throughout. Mind you the newsreader had just announced that Margate beat Fleet in the first round of the FA Cup, so accuracy is not a strong point.
