not normally online this late but have a new lap top so thats my excuse.

just wanted to say how good the pitch at stansted tonight was. was really enjoyable to play on. there is no sarcasm in my tone it was was actually decent.

the game tonight was really enjoyable to play in although not the result we wanted. we were able to spray the ball round on a slick and surprisingly green surface.

stansteds results have not been the best but they have some good players particularly the boy thomas who calmly slotted in a penalty tonight.

as i said great game to play in tonight played in right spirit.

there was also a guest appearance from the mountie on the line and he was tucking into the plate of chips after the game that was laid on for all the officials

Hey the other officials were done with them anyway!

Aren't you going to tell everyone how the ball nearly bounced over your head from the other half!

Good game tonight, Bowers have certainly improved compared to what I saw last season. Two superb centre backs, who both know how to read a game, and actually snuff out the trouble before it goes anywhere. I think Smallsy only had two saves to make due to the good defending. Smallsy did make a really good save on a shot that took a massive deflection, he went one way, but scrambled back across the goal and pushed the ball round the post. Top save!

Having attended a majority of Romford games at Stansted since '92, apart from the first season, the surface has always been okay. Apart from October/November time, when it is normally covered in leaves - and I mean totally covered.

Must be a 'mare for the players when that happens.

Good to see you have got a new fan Smallsy!

Cheque in the post?

on a more sour note i forgot to mention the showers which were an absolute disgrace and i would have been cleaner if one of the lads had p*ssed all over me (and enjoyed it more )

officials had a quiet night except the dodgy penalty the ref gave

Hate Stansted afetr what their Chairman wrote about us last year. If it wasn't bringing the game in to disrepute I don't know what is!

Well it weren't Stansted who went about threatening the ref !!!
Smallsy you're right, the showers are a shocker, just be thankful you don't have to play there every week ! penalty was harsh-ish, I was more annoyed with our marking for your equaliser. See you in the return.

Where was you mug? I was standing next to the supposed player who was meant to have threatened him. He was f**king 60yards when the ref said he heard him! He said f**k all. But your Chairman didn't have the balls to say anything to us when we played you. He was no wheer to be seen the coward. At least say things to peoples faces.
