A very entertaing game tonight at the WLG, Edgware winning 3-2. Ruislip were a decent enough side, and took the lead, with a good goal, Edgware pulled it level through an excellent Stuart Blackburne header, and the game swung from end to end. Ruislip regained the lead with a penalty, the second debatable one given against us in the space of a few days.

 

Phil Cane, scored a cracking equaliser, his first for the club, just before HT.

 

Second half saw some excellent football, with Edgware taking a hold of the game. Richard Morton gave us the lead with a good goal direct from a free kick, and we could have had several more,had we had a bit more luck.

 

All in all a good game and a good advert for football in the SSML Prem.

 

We are back top of the table, albeit on GD and having played two games more then Harefield, but its nice to be top after dropping to 5th on Saturday.

Will I be there? is the pope catholic? Dont you know I am the new match secretary of Edgware Town? Tonight the secretary was not there, so I filled out the forms and phoned in the score to the league after the game, it was good.

 

Manic, what did you think of the article I wrote in the FA vase game? Did you read the FA Vase triva? I had to do research for that.

 

Tonight I had a few articles in the the programme as well.

Both !?...although you guys have started to ship in some goals...Harefield are scoring lots and not conceeding !
