v Fleet

Obviously I'll be at Southwood but I do think it will be a cracker at Belmont. I'd have been seriously tempted if we hadn't been at home ourselves. I used to live in Whitstable for a few years when I worked in Canterbury and so saw a few games there when the Rams weren't playing.

It's a very tight ground and I would expect the crowd to be 800 or so, should be good atmosphere. Lots of nice pubs in Whitstable as well - I used to like the Coach and Horses or the Rose in Bloom.

Whitstable do play attacking football and they use their sloping pitch (touchline to touchline, not goal to goal) and its very small size to good effect. It's also very muddy in winter as it doesn't drain well but obviously that shouldn't be the case here. It's not unlike playing at Fleet in fact.

All in all I would expect a very tough game for Margate although obviously you'll be favourites.

Thanks for info Clive, nice to see you on here again with a good post. I also think your tie will be a toughie but hope you get through too as can only be good for the game in Thanet

Jambo Dave best of luck on Saturday.

The following phrases will be very usefull in Kenya:

Tafadhali Nataka Bia Babidi (can I have a cold beer)

Wapi Choo (where are the toilets)

A very good choice for a honeymoon I lived in Malindi for 10 years and went to school in Nairobi (or as they now say Ny Robbery so be carefull)

Excuse us we are not thinking of you on Saturday as we will to busy seeing AFC bite the dust.

PS are you taking your laptop (computer, not intended) to the church to listen to Wellsie.
