Cor it has been a very busy last few hours. I look forward to the game tommorrow. Gibbo sounds a bit down tho.

I'm not surprised that Gibbo is less than full of seasonal cheer. The bill for repairs to the clubhouse was rumoured to be of the order of £4000 and I imagine he assumed that would be recovered on insurance.

 

Hot on the heels of that one was the damage to the display boards etc. at a cost suggested to be of the order of £20,000. [Oh, by the way. I see Rob's and CZ's suggestion of 'mindless vandalism' etc. but to me, that has the hallmarks of a serious grudge attack. I imagine that mindless vandals don't spend a couple of hours in daylight systematically destroying the most costly items to replace.]

 

"We" don't need those sort of bills. "He" has to deal with them.

 

Anyway. A Happy New Year from me, Gibbo. However bad it seems, things could be an awful lot worse.
