Without their main sponsor now, R & D fans seem to have realistic expectations from this season.

Come on Gary - surely you've spent enough time on confguide to know we are indeed 'Tinpot' rather than 'Proper'?

That said, there are only five 'Proper' teams in the Conference, of course - and Rushden is not one of them.

I think we are punching above our weight so far this season, and long may it continue. Mr Daish has built up a strong squad on a small budget and I still feel to finish in the Top 10 of the Conference National would be a great achievement for this season. As a season ticket holder at Charlton I have to be realistic, and I know this is going to be a long season for us. I think the problems with the fans of some clubs, is that they think they have a divine right to be somewhere else!!!!!
