The banner on the fence behind the goal is crying out for some creativity on the part of a Banksy influenced saints fan. Maybe just a tin of white to cover up the first word would do the trick. Or perhaps replacing "Devon" with "Corners" would remind us that being 10-0 up on the corner count at half time counts for nothing.

 

Understanding that common man can't get his head around many things, the campaigners behind the banner have translated their issue into football speak to help us out. Re. Q3, I've argued for many years that the Old Trafford pitch is covered is rubbish. I wonder if they've also managed to translate into those other common man "languages" - double decker buses, times around the earth etc.
