Worthing United have been drawn at home to Essex Senior League mid-table side Romford in the 2nd qualifying round of the FA Cup. The Mavericks will be hoping that they can advance one stage nearer to the 1st Round proper against a side from the same level of the non-league pyramid."

 

TBag says that should be an interesting game between two teams from the same level.

 

Our host's league record to date is -

and they beat Hamble ASCC of the Wessex League 3-2 at home in the last round.

 

HSCC's are second from bottom in their league and their record is -

So our hosts are not unbeatable on that basis it seems to me.
