I am a park player.

 

I pay a signing on fee.

I pay subs every game.

I don't get travelling expences (whether STFC players do I don't know)

I get my [****!!****] kicked and dropped like anybody else if i play badly.

And somtimes there's idiots out there...like my last game sunday..i nearly get my front teeth knocked out and almost had my leg broken by a pair of unessesary set of high studs....

 

Then at least once a week i Pay £8 and the rest to see Slough Town...

 

I like to think I'm one of the positive minded people that support the club and always look on the bright side and try to portry this in the Swedish match reports, but even i have my breaking points and I'm sorry I have to say this, but i find it personal that some get paid to play.

 

I'm like others on here, I don't expect us to win the league or do anything fantastic, but on paper we have a side that should be mid table. Other than the Harrow game and the first half of Margate (missed AFC) I have to ask the attitude of some and ability.

 

Ok, we all have off days in whatever we do in life, no one is perfect...but...well.. I'd rather us lose every week and see 100% from the team rather than what has been churned out recently.

 

Isn't it us fans who pay the wages?

Ok WayneLG I see where you're coming from as I've been to the parks you're talking about like many others, you don't have to do it though. Your rant is totally justified When your paying x amount and you see players not pulling their weight and are just not bothered. But when a player gives 100% from what I see and just may not be good enough it different. Better still you should air your opinion to the player direct when they're walking off the pitch then we might see some improvement or not.

Ok, fair point.

Every player gives 100% and that's what goes thru' the players minds, giving that effort.

But on the outside, and I'm not alone in thinking here, it just doesn't look like it in some of them and that's what i find bl****dy frustrating. There's a couple of the team I know have the talent to be there, they've shown it or I know of it from previous clubs, but latley it looks like they're going thru' the motions.

 

And you right, I don't have to play park football, but I played the game too long and love it to much not to play.

 

But those guys out there in amber & blue have the previlidge to play semi-pro level football, a level myself and many others out there would dearly love to be in their boots for.

Wasn't going on just the cobham game, was talking in general as the comment on the swedish website seemed in general. You'll know the player I'm on about and I said "maybe" not good enough.
