Canvey are out, lost on Saturday.

 

I was hoping for Wembley but they went out in the Preliminary round.

lol at dartford, top of their league, playing bottom of the league hastings, and they lose, followed almost instantly by the same tie in the fa cup and they lose again!

As I said whoever i nthe next round, preferably home, doubt now i cud make an away game, what with the mighty emperor playing the astoria.

I think any team at home in the final qualifying round would give us a chance of making the 1st Round, and then a league 2 club at home would also give us a decent chance. I think in any cup competition, you just need to hope for a home draw against opposition you have a chance to beat. Hope we avoid a fellow conference national team and can get a little cup run going.

I don't think too many Conference clubs would fancy coming to Stonebridge road at the moment. I'd take any home draw.....bring 'em on.

In all seriousness, this is a very important year to get a high profile and successful cup run going. Not only will it get local interst going, hopefully sustainable, but also so much needed cash to help with the planning of the new ground.

Knowing our luck, we will get Oxford away in the 4th qualifying round.
