Supporters Team game vs Farnborough?

The problem is Sue if I'm filming I'm likely to get distracted by Langley Rebel, and given I've agreed to take him along I don't really want him to feel like he's been left to his own devices. The chances are it will be bucketing down too and my intentions would be to head for cover rather than film. Perhaps the rolling subs could take turns?

Martin,

Do you need me to come to WP? I'm picking Matt and Laurence up and as we live near the motorway it's easier to just go from there. But if you think that lifts are still needed let me know.

I think I said i'd give Dom a lift as well Tuesday, and don't mind doing that, but if i'm not needed to go the WP, can someone else give him a lift. If I am needed that's no prob.

Ta

Chris

[color:"red"] You guys don't need to worry too much, although, they have the strongest right side lined up to play as both our Right Back and Right Midfielder are players who single handedly win games for their 5 a side teams. Also, last season they were the reason their 11 a side team did awesome. The centreback called Darren is also amazing.

Keep these 3 quiet (in particular the flambouyant and pacy Right Winger) and you could well find you will win the game. I should mention the right winger only played a handful of games last season, but he still finished top scorer, or joint top scorer, I forget now. He's well sexy though, like the right back, so ladies you're in luck!!!

Hope it's a great game in the right spirit and i'll be playing, but I can't reveal what position!!! [/color]

So Farnborough have a strong right side? Good thing we have 'Psycho' at left back then!! They won't be so flambouyant and pacy afterwards

For those interested in the result of the game the guys lost 5-2.

They were 1-0 down at ht and put in a fantastic effort, especially as they only had 11 players compaired to Farnboroughs supporters team which had 11 plus subs.

Goals from Radders and a Boxall penalty.

well, we had twelve players but unfortunately lost Damien due to injury on the half hour mark. Conceded the first goal a few minutes before half time, and pulled it back to 3-2 with two goals in five minutes with 10 minutes to go. Also, we finished the game with two injured players on the pitch (Matt C and Charlie), plus considerably more that really needed a breather.
