Yeah along with Aaron "Wayne" Kerr. Jimmy's favourite ex-Fleet player, Scott "Bading", scored his first career goal for them about a month ago but then some bloke scored four past the same team as Angels ran out 6-1 winners v Worthing.

Its going to be a great game and we might even lose god forbid

Couldn't agree with you more; given that we have little else to moan about at present, I salute you for the opportunity for some "retro moaning". <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

He has to be the most infuriating player of all time for me. Now, I have seen worse players in a Fleet shirt, but none has enraged me more than the ironically monikered Gooding for the simple fact that the guy was meant to be a professional...

Apperently our tie away at Tonbridge Angels is on the 30th of November.

We haven't yet spoken to Tonbridge to agree a date.

30th November is the date that the ties are supposed to be played by.

When a date is set, I will let you know.

Can't wait for the Tons tie - brings back very old memories of a Floodlight Cup match , late 70's... we played our centre half up front , Peter Osborne , who scored a hat trick before he went off to Norway , but THE goal was scored by the mercurial Brian Woolfe ...Lee Smelt in goal ( before Cloughy snapped him up )kicked the ball upfield towards the plough end ...it was heading directly out of play towards the halfway liners on the stonebridge road side , when woolfy swung up a hopeful foot , connected and sent the ball looping over a back-pedalling Tonbridge keeper . Grreeat game - I know we scored 4 and won , just can't remember the final score , but what a match

One of my favourite players was Peter Osbourne - after joining FC Bergen in NOrway, he played for them in the Cup Winners Cup the next season - from Gravesend to Europe in the space of a few months!

When Ebbsfleet is working you should be able to do Gravesend to Europe in about an hour...progress or what.
