Coach for Tuesday - any Takers?

Have spoken to Melvin & as it is at this moment he dosent envisage getting a coach for the trip. A lot of people are shying away from going because of yesterdays performance. HOWEVER I dont think we should just abandon the team.I for one am off Tuesday & want to go whether thats by coach or car is something I have to decide on yet,so I was wondering if there were others out there who wished to go by coach or go at all despite yesterday. If we can get as many names as possible who wish to go by coach then maybe(& agreed with Melvin)something could be sorted out for coach travel but he does want names that are really wanting to go.If enough names are found then maybe a small coach of some sort could be arranged. We need to know by tonight so if you want to go please mention your name on here throughout the day please. If there arent many then a coach wont be booked,& I for one will have to travel by car. Thanks

James it would be a christmas present for the club if they saw you appear at the ground on a midweek matchday. Can understand your problems with a Saturday game.

By the way thanks for getting the posters up!

Will you be able to get to the ground on Friday in two weeks time re: proposed "open meeting" as we might need your expertise. On second thoughts maybe not as the news is supposed to be "good news" so maybe best not to after all.Dont want to spoil things now do we? l.o.l.

Just teasing! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

See you for the midweek game v Bromley then!

Looks like no-one seems to want to make the journey or maybe cant make the journey on Tuesday night then.No problem.Just a shame thats all. Hopefully the players can do it without our help. Am sure a dozen or so will still be going anyway by their own transport.

I'll contact Melvin & inform him that there was no response & that a coach will not be required. Thanks anyway.

Having still followed Margate as an Exile for 20 years after leaving the area for work reasons yes I count myself as a loyal fan as I classify all those who use to travel to Ashford and Dover to watch "home" game. As I also classify those who could not go to those games for whatever reason but still looked out for the results and supported the club in whatever way they could.

IF you followed Ramsgate when they were struggling in the Kent League and not JUST started supporting them in their "glory" years (to date) then I will care what you think.

Do not go. Win, lose or draw you will wish you didn't. The pitch is a state, Ground is not much better. If you try to play football you will be shown-up by the pot holes.

When did you last go there then Rob? I went a few years back & it seemed o.k. Has it changed down there then?

Only 5 years!!!!!!!

I have followed Margate since 1963 and despite living in the Tonbridge area for 20 years Margate was my team and always will be.

Yes I am glad Ramsgate are back on par with Margate after all the poor years (having seen them play us in the old Southern League days) but don't talk [****!!****] about supporting a club having only followed your club for such a short period
