imagine if it were Chelsea , Man utd , Arsenal that had started the season so well , then all of a sudden everything is a shambles : the tabloids would have a field day : don`t think its a case of long knives Angle , more like long balls and no action for 90 mins.

I support Trotty and he does want great things from Margate FC. We need to get rid of playing long balls and play the ball to feet because against Ramsgate we were good at it and we were good at it at times today and we all know that we have been great with it in other games this season.

I back Trotty he has a great record so far and is addresing the problem areas. My only doubt is half time talk does not seem to be changing the game much.

Of course we are behind Trotty.To think otherwise just because the players arent giving of their best is ridiculous.Its the players who have to take the rap.He gives them the opportunity to go out there & play & if they appear not to be doing that then it is they that are at fault & it is they who need to take a good look at themselves not Trotty.If they were to be paid on appearances then maybe there would be more effort in order to try & keep their position for the following match. No performance,no next game,no wages.If they find themselves picked for the next game then they & we will know that they have earned that spot & their wages from their performance in the last game.Trouble with that is if MOST of them underform as was yesterday then we are left with no team at all next time out.So in reality terms it wouldnt work but something along those lines would be appropiate i.m.o just so as to extract the best out of them rather than have them believe their places & their wages are safe simply because there are no other options.

totally behind him the only critisism i can make was yesterday he did a lot of shouting at the team but none of it seemed constructive.and im sure we all agree robinson came on far too late to make a difference.we were crying out for someone to take them on down the wings

Agree on that Steve.Hoggart with his pace might well have improved things too.Both young & speedy with a bit of enterprise.These two are underestimated I feel & under-used.Am not saying to play them every game from the off but in situations like yesterday when pace was at a minimum it might well have changed things.Agree the only criticism of the man.Lets face it it couldnt have made things any worse. Shouting like Trotty & Flannagan do to the players & the way they do it is not constructive or encouraging I agree.O.k maybe a second criticism then but certainly not a sacking.A ridiculous thing for anyone to be saying at this time!
