Players leaving?

Can anyone confirm what's happened with:

Matt Glynn - Some say he's retired, others say he's gone to Oxford City after a seven-day approach

Ian Lovegrove - Is he still about?

Alex Gibson - Some suggested he's been released, others suggested he left to join Windsor.

I left to gain regular football. I'm not sure where the bit about personal commitments has come from but it's not true. After spending the majority of the season on the bench last year i didn't want to do the same again.

If players want to leave for a the money then good riddance. If they are that shallow to move to a team for more money at a lower level then go.

Personally i'd like to think players want to play for the club. No offence to Oxford City, but I can't see them taking 150 supporters away for a game like Cobham and being as passionate with their support as Slough.

The best passer of the ball in the division. The most skillful player in non-league football, and by far the best looking! David Beckham of the Rymans league

Sorry, just put down what Glynn was thinking!!

No loss seeing the whinger go.

Does anyone else think Mason will follow, looked totally dis-interested against Cobham.

I think Glynn is good with the football in that he can spray passes around, thread it through, and take a good set-piece, but too often for me he was anonymous, not imposing himself on the game and letting it pass him by. I don't know if that was a lack of fitness or just laziness. We need harder-working players in the middle IMO.

Strange to think he was once attracting league scouts at Maidenhead before his injury, and now he's joining Marlow United. He should be one of the best players in the Hellenic League Division One East though <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
