Thats just an excuse Graham. If they werent fit enough or feeling under the weather they should have said before the game.If they decide to go out there feeling unwell & not mention it then they should go out there & play to their best. Sorry cant go along with that.

I almost always wait till next day to post my thoughts, that way I have calmed down

Best players in my eyes were in order SCS. Wilde and sappleton

Danny seemed off form, wasn't running all the time, looked fed up

Best thing I can get out of the match is that we didn't lose, but it was painful to watch. got to admit I wouldn't want to watch to many games like that

This is why we need another striker Tony. you know yourself we can't all be up for it all the time it could be flu/lack of settled nights/ illness or other family problems/ hard week at work. Theplayers are no different than you or i, just human.

Yes we do need another striker as back up I wont deny that but to say we didnt perform all over the park because of sickness alone is nonsense.I know they werent your exact words but thats the way it sounded.Am just glad SCS was free from all ills as we would have been lost without his magnificent goalkeeping.Sappleton too was very good in his first game back.Pinnock too gets a mention for his continued running & efforts. We underperformed and thats the real truth. As a TEAM it didnt work yesterday for whatever reason but as others have said I am confident that we can pull it round on Tuesday, yes confident. We know what they are capable of thats why!

In that case then we did well to fire up a magnificent performance against Chelmsford & were brilliant in beating Folkestone away 5-1. You sure it didnt start until after the Chelmsford game Alex, later than you mention?

Actually I recall having made a joke of a "burger" after the Folkestone game so it must have started then surely. In that case the slump has had to have been since then so maybe I am being a little harsh on them after all. I take some of my comments back in that case Graham. (BB)

There are all sorts of whys and why nots, ifs and buts.

I listened to an interview with Adrian Pinnock on fridays sport slot on radio Kent. The interviewer asked why they had won on saturdays and not Tuesdays. His answer was he had 5 players who got up at 4 am to go to work, so by the time 7-45pm came around they had been up 14 plus hours, had done a days work and had then to play 90 minutes of competative football. A big penalty to carry when you are up against full time teams who get up at say,8-00am, train when there energy levels are at there peak and rest on the day of a game.
