Yes I think the honeymoon period may be over and we could be in for a long hard winter.

First half was very frustrating. Burton are not a particularly good side but at times city struggled to to string two passes together. The defence seemed to go to sleep for the goal.

In the second half at least city played with some urgency particularly after the substitutions - penetration up front though was still very much lacking.

Err....agree that there were not many shots but we scored a perfectly legal goal IMO.

I think that Clarke has had a woeful start to the season hardly saw him at all today. And havent seen him playing to the best of his abillity every game i have been to.

I agree...and it hurts to say that as I am a big fan of his.

 

I think that he will need to be rested from playing upfront, I am also not sure Sozzo is the answer after all....oh well.

To improve your performances may I suggest:

 

1. you remind your players what colour kit they wear.

2. you put your leading scorer of the past few seasons up front, where he has been playing for the past few seasons.

3. you stop Laz and Helski inviting me up to watch you play.

Err...Lee Clarke was playing up front, only when we had injuries was he moved.

 

I think our passing has been as good if not better than most teams we have played so far...we just currently don't look like scoring.

Lee Clarke played deeper yesterday, i would like to see Clarke and Hakim up front together!

Was he!? I've seen two matches so far and both times he's been in midfield. His lack of goals in the other games suggest to me he was not up front for those either.

As for your passing on Saturday - were we watching the same match!?!?
