Wallis resigns...

I see from the front page of the website that Gordon Wallis has quit as President of MFC.

Ordinarily the MFC Webmaster would have posted the news in here.

As an exile I do not know, so can anyone closer to things at the club confirm if there is anything we should know or be worried about? With big developments seemingly in the offing, club Presidents resigning tends to give one (well, me, at least) the heebeejeebees.

Absolutely NOTHING to worry about! Onward into todays game.Thats the immediate issue today. A victory needed in more ways than one but NOT because of any step down by GW. Have no worries!

He has been a great servant of this club & will be missed a lot but he has his own personal reasons for stepping down & it dosent reflect on the club or change our forward plans in anyway whatsoever.

Absolutely agree with you June. He has been a terrific servant to this club.Much respect & thanks come from me at least for all his undying loyalty & hard work to this club.As you say this is what we should be talking off here. Not speculating as to why.
