Can't remember much of him, what did you think of him when he played for you?

Gotta say I liked Sappleton, a no nonsense, 'says what it does on the tin' type defender. Will almost certainly get red carded at some point. Sappleton v Elder should be interesting!

Crawley site says he was a promising younger player and quick.

i thought he was late twenties and built his game on positioning as opposed to pace.

Perhaps those who have seen him regularly could give a run-down of his stregths and weaknesses

His strengths are his strength and he is good in the air considering he is not that tall. As Ryan says he is an uncompromising "old school" defender.

Weaknesses: You can guaranteee one shocking challenge per game which will result in penalty/yellow card. He can be indisciplined and is likely to be red-carded if you stick a wind-up merchant on him.

Paaaat is, apparantly, live on Sky at this very moment playing for Crawley (again) which is a tad confusing.

I've been told that he hasn't signed he league registration over to us yet, so can still play for Crawley until he does so.

so he was neither registered, nor dual registered as a Margate player, yet he is eligible to play in a cup comp for Margate <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
