[Margate Football Club]

Margate Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Pay Sappleton, a central defender from Crawley. Pat had a brief visit to Margate in the pre-season but went to Crawley in hope of full-time football.

 

We hope you will all welcome Pat as he pulls on his blue shirt against Fleet Town tomorrow.

Good player, but personally from my one view of him at Fisher, i thought CW was quicker.

 

However, positional play can make up for alot ,and as i have siad, i think its the midfield which needed stirring up more than the defence.

 

Hopefully Jay will give us a bit extra there
