[Margate Football Club]

Margate Football Club has signed former gate man Jay Saunders on a one month loan from Lewes. Unfortunately, Jay will not be available for selection tomorrow as Lewes do not want him cup tied.

 

Robin Trott is also attempting to secure a new central defender, to be available for tomorrow, prior to the 12:00 deadline today.

 

It is expected that Hasim Deen will join Stevenage on a one month loan by the end of today, with a view to a permanent transfer.

Jay is one of five reportedly put on the transfer list at Lewes, so maybe we can get him permanently.

Only last night I had a thought of Jay coming back especially as he was mentioned here on another thread the other day. How eerie that it has come about,albeit temporarily.Good with his head & another solid midfielder.

Gives us more "bite" in the middle too.

I'm now looking for a score in my head for tomorrow,hopefully a positive one! Will keep you posted on that one if a further vision comes to mind l.o.l.

Will be nice to see Jay back in a blue shirt.

If we had jay permanant he can cover midfield and defence;aswell as getting 4/5 goals a season from corners/free kicks-always seemd to be there for those;which is something we have been missing

Another bonus with Jay is he has played with our ex graveside players for a couple of seasons so should have no problems fitting in.

this is really great news , well done to trotty for getting the men he needs , am impressed with Jay coming back , big admirer of his talent he has and just the sort of player we need to pull the squad togther .Fantastic and Trotty also getting hold of Pat Sappleton , been after him for a while and now he`s got him again very well done.

Pity its only 3/4 league games-albeit vital ones-will the month cover the Staines game i wonder.
