If we are to encourage children to exercise more we must accomodate those with skill and passion as well as those who turn up simply because they enjoy it, like meeting up with mates or even simply because they want something to do. Not always easy but necessary I feel.

Not all kids know they are that brilliant at sport but play because they enjoy the exercise and meeting up with friends. Problem is these days everything is geared towards winning rather than the taking part and those who are less ably skilled get pushed out.

very true yellow i often go over waterside with my mates after school to play football or cricket and we do this for fun and we aren't exactley great but we do it for fun and this is how sport and exercise should be treated then if someone does have talent then progress them further kids my age 15 are pussed to hard for example one of my mates has a footy game this morning then cricket this afternoon followed by anthor cricket game tomorrow. But we (kids) should be encouraged to do more sport because there is no realy push unless parents are very sporty or the kid has talent.
