A huuuuuuge improvement upon Saturday. We only occassionally (sp) felt the need to hoof the ball and for the most part played the ball on the floor with some good passing football. We beat teams like it last season so we should do it this season at a higher level.

 

Two changes that made a huge difference to me was Tiffers and Simon Parker being included in the starting XI. Tiffins pure energy merits his place in the team but it wasn't just that; he made some good tackles and constructive passes and had an all round good game. Secondly starting with Jesus up front with Kris (sp?) Lee made a huge difference to Janners game. They link up time and time again as shown in pre-season and controlled the flank all night, whereas on Saturday Janners looked a tad lost at times.

 

Cross had a quality game an deserved man of the match. Also a mention for Dale who pulled of some good save. Of course Canveys team was changed from their win at Sudbury on Saturday but nevertheless we played them off the park and deserved the win. Now bring on Redbridge!!!

I wouldn't want it to shrink or ruin though otherwise its ~£200 down the drain...

 

I think a dry clean is in order... I can't see it being more than £20 max. We could do a mini-whip round the Eastside and Riverside next home game for the 'Flag Preservation fund'. Whatever over the odds we get we give to Matt for the supporters fund. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

That is a quality post, maybe you should apply for PT's job at Boothferry, good points there mate from a supporter who has been following us for a long time.
