What a game tonight. Seemed to me as though we out played them in every department. Grays fans walking out couldn't stop saying well done to Gravesend for the performance. Two great finishes, great defending all game, Smiths were rocks at the back, as was Macca. Great run from Keeling to set up the first. COleman had a wonderful game, was everywhere putting in tackles and blocking the ball, my man of the match I thought. Loved the celebration from De Bolla too, who also got the players over at the end. Well played Fleet, roll on Exeter City.

Great game tonight can't fault anything. I've been a little apprehensive this season, and will continue to be thanks, but tonight what a game. Coleman was also my man of the match, didn't stop running. Ross also had a fantastic game. I think he had been suffering being given the left back spot but he covered Keeling fantastically.

Grays didn't know what to do with us. We were playing a high tempo game for 90 minutes. There looked a time when in the first half they might be getting on top but half time came at just the right time. Every time one of their players got the ball that was one of ours trying to get it back. Thought we dealt with their attacks well, they tried the long ball, didn't work, tried the passing game, still didn't work. They didn't give up though.

Very few of their fans stayed behind to clap the players off. Empty, soulless club.

Agree with you Harry (not often I do that!), the 2 players who were marginally ahead on a night where everyone worked their socks off, were Ross Smith & Liam Coleman - Liam especially did brilliantly given that it was his first full game this season, and he probably wouldnt be comopletely match fit yet.

The quality of the performance can be measured by the fact that Grays only had 2 real scoring opportunities all game - one in the first half that Lance pushed away and the most important one - the one their forward lifted over the bar in the second half with the goal gaping, and the score still 1-0.

They had scored 16 and only conceded 3 before tonight, so to stop them scoring and nearly double their goals coceded was a magnificent effort.

One or two more outstanding performances like tonight and perhaps some of those stayaways will start to come back.

One of the best performances I have seen for a time.

We not only bullied thegame start to finish , every man did his duty.

Grays were closed down , forced to try long ball , to feet and anything else they could , but we did not let them settle or dictate the game. They had a small part o fthe game when they started to look likethey ticked , but the halftime whistle came at the right time for fleet.

Coleman was my man of the match , but it was hard to not pick someone for the accolade.

Anybody could have been MOM - i literally mean anyone!! all played so well. Moore ran his socks of and closed things down. Keeling is steel of the season! De Bolla, Charlie - i mean i will just list the team here if i go on!! To pick a MOM it has to be between Ross and Coleman and i think for sheer running and enthusiasm at both ends of pitch it has to be Coleman. What a game he had!

So chuffed - So chuffed mainly for Liam and the team they deserve some credit and good performances!

Crowd were vocal as well and really good to see everybody clap the players off for a good 5 minutes - excellent!! should make the week at work fly by now!!

Coleman played out of his skin, Grays had a job to cope with him, In my eyes should have been MOM.In saying that it must have been very hard to chose.

It was a sheer pleasure to be a fleet fan.

The lads should be proud of themselves.

Grays did not play badly, just out played on every part of the pitch by the fleet. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />
