I know what your saying but why should Gillingham playing at home put people off coming to our games? They're struggling at the wrong end of the table and tonight are playing second from bottom Millwall, who-hoo lets go to that, yet we're playing Grays and both teams have started really well. I get what your saying and you may well be right I just don't see why anyone would do that.

 

As for Champions League this shouldn't, but you know it will, detract from our attendance. Especially for anyone that turned up last night. Had we played a game when there was no Champions league football though, say last Tuesday, then the attendance would be a little higher.

 

Grays predict that they'll only bring about 250 which is a little low. Perhaps some of their fans are upset that they didn't get a bye to the Premiership.

There's a great quote on their forum saying they brought 400 last season "when they were flying it", but only expect 250 this time. If they're not "flying it" this season as well, what are they doing?! Second in the league and scoring goals for fun is pretty much 'flying it' in my book.
