Biggs Utd vs Kentish Town

Recommended Posts

Apparently the Brazil of the SSML Div 1 are missing many of their superstars so Rhodes is predicting a big Bigg win.

3-2 - Close as predicted!

Kentish put a put a decent fight, a good game for the neutrals. The Coloured lad and the Centre half look very decent players Rhodes, i'll be suprised if you hang onto them, especially the centre half.

The right result in the end though, im sure Rhodes would agree!

RobbieO - Just got back home so you're probably tucked up in bed by now following your exertions and two goals, you made the difference otherwise I think we would have won. Yes we have some decent players two or three of which didn't travel up tonight, Daniel Young who orchestrates the midfield is superb as is the big centre half Aaron however they will stick with us through thick and thin as the whole team have grown up together, even if Arsenal or Chelsea came in for any of them they wouldn't go. I'm glad you came on here tonight to endorse the potential we have, your Coach was raving about us afterwards and has offered us a pre season friendly next year although we will be meeting twice anyway next season in the Premier Division.

How's your training regime going for Sunday Maldini? You'll have to introduce yourself as I don't know who you are!!

I hear Jim hasn't had to do too much chasing of players and has about 27 'old' boys to choose from...

Did a 45 minute run sunday morning <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bigshock.gif" alt="" />

and felt ok after, playing footy for an hour at wodson park tomorrow night so should be ok.

27 players, can they all play at the same time we might need them <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Not sure if you could say i made the difference rhodes, despite the goals. I enjoyed the second one, nice finish. the first one, less spoken about the better!

You obviously were the difference as Kentish Town would've won!!

So does your coach do drugs then?

NeutralFan - What you mean something like "I would have really looved it if we had beaten Bigg United, looved it"!

RobbieO - I beg to differ actually, I know you were playing in the game but I thought we played some beautiful flowing stuff at times particularly when you consider six or seven of the team weren't regulars, it also didn't help that we had to start with four named substitutes due to one of the cars getting lost en route including the goalkeeper who threw your first goal in Garry Sprake style but fair play, your second goal was excellent and on the night you just about shaded it. Also I can't say I'm sorry not to be going to Oxhey Jets in the next round who surprisingly beat Leverstock Green, pack your boxing gloves when the time comes.

HTFCew - You certainly know your football, I'm impressed, I thought only the likes of Lato, Horace and Potters Bar Town would remember Garry Sprake. Not sure whether the following link will work but it's our programme notes from Tuesday night, if it does enjoy!

Well you didn't seem that old when we met at Hertinfordbury Park on that now historic night of the wonder goal. My dad first took me over to Highbury in 1967 when they had the legendary Jim 'Fingers' Furnell in goal and, as I say, Leeds had Garry Sprake although strangely enough Arsenal v Leeds games were always 0-0 or 1-0 either way.
