Our programme has some hot competition.

Shayday is the name of Halifax Town's programme, at least I think that's what it's called. It might be something different than that and it has a spelling error.

 

They must be in competition with themselves to get as many conference names on their front cover as possible. Grays badge where ours should be, newly invented team name, Gravesend Athletic? We should however be pleased though as they eventually managed to get it right. However their tannoy announcer did begin to call us Dagenham and Redbridge, very bizzar. Anyone else you'd like to fit into the afternoon, Barcelona, Manchester United, The Strongest (Bolivia) or maybe with our new sponsors Rapid Vienna?

 

On the inside of the programme they start the history of Gravesend and Northfleet that ends after a number of adverts three pages later, no stats page at all and some article about their former players starts on one page and ends on the previous one.

 

The back page is probably the best one out of the lot. Their were errors with players numbers, luke Moore number 17? but at least all our players were there, half of theres weren't.

 

Apology on their website apparently but I won't be registering just to read that. It was all something to do with a problem at the printers, nice to see the buck passing is still working though.

 

Still they only charged us £1.00 for it so it's not all bad. I wonder if our club will decide to do that if there are ever massive errors like that?

Yeah, terrible programme it was, on of the worst yet for errors. There were more errors in their programme than errors on there "new" stand!!!
Tannoy bloke was awful, I heard you (Harry J Allstars) shouting. I thought Kenny would have joined in!!!!
