I have been reading the posts on here and the Hx site with interest. There is a definite air of desperation in their posts.

 

I am not talking about the result as I think it will be a well fought game both sides eager to win and one of us will walk away with bragging rights until next time.

 

It is more than that, most people I have spoken to around Canvey are still it seems undecided weather, they intend to go for a number of reasons.

 

1. "nothing cup"

2. "busy"

3. "international on TV"

4. "cant be bothered"

 

Yet Hx seem to be really pulling the stops out to generate interest in this, cup tie.

 

Me!! I am already interested so will almost certainly come dragging 1/2 doz of Jnrs mates behind me, including the elusive one.

 

Has anyone any thoughts on the above, or cant you all be bothered, does this really mean more to them than us!!

a lot of people have lots of thoughts mobby wobby...I doubt you will be there as you have no understanding of the essex non league game nor any realo love for canvey....you are just a whisky soaked glory seeker with no football roots as are your alter egos Loon and LEO....

you are a johhny come lately who appeared when jeff left and tried to hijack the committee and the forum...

everyone knows you are a fake.....

Loon you are me and I am you, therefore we are Leo (and Johnny)!!

As we all three only jumped on board since Jeff left, who has been using my season ticket all these years??

I know the club was tight for money so surely the couple of hundred junior raised on the sponsored walk could at least have got me a place on the board, or am I always destined to have no more input than running the line for the Under 14's B side!!

What do you think of that??

Don't think there'll be a huge away following on Tuesday night. I've got to rush over straight from work.

 

The League Cup is the last on our list of priorities for this season, and we will almost certainly field a squad side. It is unlikely there'll be much noise from the Canvey boys for this one!

all players fans and officials are welcome at our place glen...its what we do best....
