Phew!!!! At last!

We finally got a win in the league after beating Clapton 2 - 1. Hopefully this will kick start our season. Very hard fought victory on a terrible pitch. I must say Clapton were not as bad as I thought they would be. Had a few decent players and worked very hard. After they scored after a defensive mix up, they had 2 or 3 chances but didn't take them. We changed a few things and we took control of the game. Some comic things happened. We lobbed their keeper twice and the ball bounced so high it went over the bar and one hit the bar! I wouldn't mind but the ball only went about 7ft in the air.

 

Anyway I can see Clapton pulling off a few shocks this year. I wouldn't take notice of their home form because their pitch is like an extra man for them.

 

By the way where were you Hope you mug!!!!!

 

One thing that was disrespectful was that they spelt our name wrong. That shouldn't happen at this level.
