Lato - Well don't take my word for it, you witnessed our intricate passing game in that friendly at Grosvenor Vale on a pitch where it was difficult to put one pass together let alone a string of Leeds v Southampton 1974 proportions. I think the likes of your good self and Potters Bar Town are starting to sit up and take notice of us now although I'm sure you won't admit to that.

BTW, the London APSA v Colney Heath match was postponed as when Colney Heath arrived the pitch wasn't even marked out.

HTFCew - You had better ask Coupwotcoup that question, I get this information e-mailed to me direct from the league so as you say it is quite privileged. I had wondered why the Colney Heath match had been postponed, the same thing happened to us when we hired Wembley FC a few weeks back for an evening game and fortunately the Referee delayed the kick off to 8.15 so the lines could be marked, it's lucky he did as that was the night we beat Brache Sparta 8-2 in a game that is already legendary.

It took me over an hour but this is now sorted. It was caused by non unique match numbers being used. If anyone notices any other peculiar fixtures or results please let me know.

Lato - Perhaps you should ask the people in attendance, most of whom approached me afterwards in a state of frenzy to say it was the best game they had ever witnessed, the result should have been 14-5 or something like that. There were penalties, red and yellow cards galore and the game didn't finish till 10.05 due to a late start because Wembley had forgotten to mark the lines, the Referee had called the game off only to change his mind.

The game is at Second Meadow, I switched the tie following the draw due to the uncertainty with our ground at the time although I think our groundshare with Hendon has been sorted out now.
