a complete waste of a lead, we were comfortable for all but the first 5 and last 15 minutes. thought the subs were a waste, mason was having a good game IMO, if anything we needed a more defensive midfielder on in the middle late on, not at the right wing back position like when moleski came on for dell.

gibson looked a bit out of place when he came on, though he did try to battle hard, chased the defence well, but lacked the skill needed for this level.

the second goal seemed to crush us completely which then lead the 3rd on, we were playing so well until we stopped expecting that free kick.

definately deserved at least a point today, heres hoping we can get through the next 2 cup games.

Very disappointing today after been 2-1 up. Should have taken at least a point. It went all wrong as soon as all three subs were used we lost are shape and kept on dropping deeper and deeper.

 

We need to win on tuesday and saturday in the cup's or i think are season could be over really.

apparantly dell had too come off.not sure about the others.first half we dominated with dell putting some great crosses in.second half was the same untill wallace,dell came off with 10 to go.then we fell apart.same as always.

Really enjoyed your visit this afternoon.When I walked into the bar at 2.15pm, I was shocked to see a room full of amber shirts, but happy to actually see some oppo fans for once!

 

In my opinion, you weren't the worst side we've placed this season but then again, you weren't the best. I think you have enough to survive that's for sure.

 

I'm certainly looking forward to visiting you lot....

This is getting embarassing now. Conceding goals because of sloppy stupid mistakes. It has cost us four points now (Margate and Tonbridge). Three players stopped playing because they thought there should have been a free kick (it wasn't a foul in my opinion) and this allowed the opposition to hit us on a fast counter attack over run us in midfield and defence to score a winner that was barely deserved. I was furious and I expect Eddie was as well.

 

Basic football rules like playing to the whistle are being ignored.

 

Having had time to reflect on the substitutions I suspect Dell had a knock and Wallace has been struggling with injury so those changes make sense. I can't quite fathom why Mason was taken off but it was a like for like substitution but unfortunately Glynn had a stinker.

 

Thought Wallace, Woody and Jarvis were superb again today and G had a good game and continues to terrorise defences with his pace and tricks. That starting XI will cause teams problems at this level but until we learn to cut out stupid mistakes we will not collect that many points.

Gutted - every Tonbridge supporter i spoke to in the bar afterwards said we deserved a point.

I can confirm, from talking to the players afterwards, that Dell had to be taken off through injury.

 

Negatives :

We through away a 2-1 lead in the last five minutes.

A few defensive pin-ball moments

 

 

Positives :

Drake made some good saves in the to keep us at 2-1 until the last 5 minutes.

We scored two goals.

The players are totally gutted after the game (put that down as a positve, as it motivates them for the next game)

G is getting back to his best

 

As Warren said, the Tonbridge supporters reckoned a draw was the deserved score, they thought they stole it from us.

 

Let's keep our heads up for the next games, and get those wins.
