if we're being seriuos a sec, I agree with you. The result on saturday was a joke really but at the end of it all with easily 90% posession, urchins didn't score...thats it...Oxford away today and another potentially tough game against an in form side and urchins have three out as well, so we'll see. we'll see...just as a matter of curiosity,, wot do you guys think about the harlow/ hertford issue then, it could affect us all could it not...

You are right though, we are not hitting the net. The amount of possession that we had on boxing day and again yesterday is embarrassing and the goal attempts were incredible in both games, especially at Oxford. Ain't no good though if you don't score goals so its ceratinly 4 points dropped over the last three games as far as I'm concerned. Still, long way to go and a lot of points to play for. We know that teams are setting their stall out for a point every time we play now but we have to deal with that. Ivanhoe, bless 'em, were shouting the old stadium down on Boxing day after the game, you'd have thought that they'd won the FA cup...same at Oxford yesterday, delirious they were...still...we've started all this off so we can't expect teams to invite messrs Jones, Martin, Cripps & Co to step up and score can we...we have to get a bit more guile about our interlinking forward play and start scoring goals or else our little 'annual collapse' wind up may backfire on us....god, couldn't stand you ghastly lot on here if that ever happened...motivation enuff methinks...good result for you yesterday by the way...bounced back nicely...but its really January when your lot start the annual migration ain't it...ha ha ha...our pitch is now totally waterlogged by the way so I can't see us playing on saturday....its gonna be a long hard three months......personnaly..I think it will all come down to fitness and squad size....we'll see...we'll see...keep the faith camel..... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif" alt="" />

Yes Arlesey and several mickey mouse club players react like they've won the FA cup at our place. Saying that so did Northwood at theirs. You have name players, we're a name from the past with unpleasant fans. You'll have to get used to that reaction.

Since Stones have lost 5 defensive players in the last couple of weeks it's been difficult but we've thrown in our youngsters who've done pretty well. Our squad depth is looking better than anticipated.

Harlow/Hertford result should stand.
